Drone Mapping in SM7

From single visits to scheduled programmes, we deliver drone mapping throughout SM7.

Our drone mapping work reaches every part of SM7. Jobs come in from main contractors, subcontractors and the client side directly. Budgets and deadlines are easier to design around when we know them early.

Clients in SM7 usually need the material for marketing, a record, or a decision. Operating in SM7 is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. SM7 shares its airspace picture with the rest of Sutton, which we already know well.

We work out take-off and landing points, cordons and contingency routes for SM7 ahead of the shoot date. For confined sites we can drop to sub-250g aircraft without giving up image quality. We turn down work we cannot do properly rather than take it on and hope.

Paperwork is ready before the booking is confirmed rather than chased afterwards. File formats are agreed up front so nothing needs converting later. The same pilot who plans the SM7 job is usually the one who flies it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you retain copyright, or do we?

Licensing is agreed before the shoot and written into the quote, so there is no ambiguity afterwards. Tell us how you intend to use the material and we will scope the licence to match.

Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?

Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.
