Thermal Drone Inspection in SM3

Commercial thermal drone inspection in SM3, from a London operator with CAA approval, £10M cover and same-day raw delivery.

SM3 is well within our operating radius, so mobilising a crew there is straightforward. We work for construction firms, property teams, marketing agencies and local businesses in the area. We are happy to work alongside a ground photographer or video crew already on site.

Clients in SM3 usually need the material for marketing, a record, or a decision. Knowing where you can legally launch in SM3 saves a wasted mobilisation. Sutton is a regular working area for us, and SM3 is part of it.

Where the site in SM3 sits near controlled airspace or sensitive infrastructure, we arrange the clearances first. We carry enough kit to change approach on site if conditions demand it. Our risk assessments are written to be read, not to tick a box.

We can supply method statements and risk assessments for your own site paperwork. Urgent SM3 jobs can be turned around same-day where the schedule allows. The same pilot who plans the SM3 job is usually the one who flies it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.

How long will you be on site in SM3?

Most single-subject jobs take one to three hours on site including setup, briefing and packing down. Larger sites, multiple elevations or survey work take longer, and we confirm the expected window when we quote.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.
