Thermal Drone Inspection in SE16

SE16 is inside our regular patch, so thermal drone inspection there is a short mobilisation rather than a special arrangement.

UAS London covers the SE16 postcode district as part of our standard London operating area. Some clients book us once; others keep us on a monthly cycle. We will say plainly if a drone is the wrong tool for what you are trying to show.

Aerial work in SE16 tends to answer a question that ground-level images cannot. Some SE16 streets simply have nowhere safe to launch, and we will say so. Sites across South East London get the same crews and the same standards as SE16.

The SE16 plan starts from what is on the ground, not from a standard template. On site we match the platform to the job, using cinema rigs for filming and RTK systems where survey accuracy matters. Our risk assessments are written to be read, not to tick a box.

Where a landowner, managing agent or council needs sight of our paperwork, we provide it up front. Raw files come back the same day, with edited output typically inside 24 to 48 hours. Where a job runs over, we absorb it rather than reissue the invoice.

Because SE16 runs down to the river, work here often means flying over water. We hold marine insurance and coordinate with the PLA and London VTS on any riverside operation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you work around a live site in SE16?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.

How much notice do you need for a booking in SE16?

A few days is comfortable for most SE16 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.
