Thermal Drone Inspection in SE1

UAS London provides thermal drone inspection across the SE1 postcode district, under CAA operational authorisation and £10M public liability cover.

We run thermal drone inspection jobs across SE1 throughout the year. Briefs range from a single set of stills through to full production support. We are happy to work alongside a ground photographer or video crew already on site.

Height changes what the site communicates: context, scale and progress all read differently. Knowing where you can legally launch in SE1 saves a wasted mobilisation. Our coverage of South East London means a crew can reach SE1 without a long transit.

The SE1 operating plan is written before the crew is scheduled, not after. Cinema, survey and inspection payloads are all available from the same crew on the same visit. Privacy is considered in the flight plan, not left to the edit.

All flights are logged, and we keep the records available for your compliance file. If weather stops the flight we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost. We would rather explain a constraint up front than surprise you with it later.

The river edge of SE1 is a different operating problem to the streets behind it. Tides move the working surface, vessels move through the shot, and the Port of London Authority needs telling in advance. All three are routine parts of our planning here.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.

How much notice do you need for a booking in SE1?

A few days is comfortable for most SE1 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.
