Thermal Drone Inspection in KT22

KT22 is inside our regular patch, so thermal drone inspection there is a short mobilisation rather than a special arrangement.

Getting a crew into KT22 is a short job for us rather than a special arrangement. We handle both one-off commissions and scheduled repeat visits for ongoing projects. Deliverables can be split across several recipients where the client team is spread out.

The right altitude for any KT22 site depends entirely on what you are trying to show. Some KT22 streets simply have nowhere safe to launch, and we will say so. Sites across Kingston upon Thames get the same crews and the same standards as KT22.

Planning for KT22 covers airspace class, nearby aerodromes, and anything on the ground that changes the risk picture. We fly the aircraft the brief actually needs rather than the same platform for everything. We fly the plan that was agreed, and flag it if the site has changed since.

Crews carry their permissions on site and brief your ground staff before the first flight. Give us the site details and we will confirm feasibility and cost before you commit. Questions get answered by someone who has actually flown the site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.

How much notice do you need for a booking in KT22?

A few days is comfortable for most KT22 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.
