Thermal Drone Inspection in E5
E5 is inside our regular operating area. Our thermal drone inspection crews mobilise quickly and arrive with the paperwork already done.
Our thermal drone inspection work in E5 spans everything from single-shoot jobs to repeat site visits. Clients here range from developers and contractors to production companies, agents and event organisers. Repeat visits to the same E5 site keep the same crew wherever we can manage it.
What comes back from the E5 flight should stand on its own without explanation. The airspace picture over E5 is checked fresh for each booking. E5 is grouped with the rest of East London on our scheduling, which keeps mobilisation costs down.
Each E5 job is planned around the site itself: access, take-off points, overflight and people on the ground. We fly the aircraft the brief actually needs rather than the same platform for everything. We fly the plan that was agreed, and flag it if the site has changed since.
UAS London holds CAA operational authorisation and carries £10M public liability insurance. Ask for the E5 brief to be quoted with and without editing if that helps you compare. We flag anything that could delay the E5 shoot as soon as we spot it.

How much notice do you need for a booking in E5?
A few days is comfortable for most E5 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.
Are you CAA approved?
Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.
Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?
Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.
