FPV Drone Filming in SW1A

From single visits to scheduled programmes, we deliver FPV drone filming throughout SW1A.

UAS London covers the SW1A postcode district as part of our standard London operating area. That includes new-build developments, refurbishment sites, commercial premises and public events. Where a job spans several sites, we can cover them in one mobilisation.

Most SW1A clients are after material they can put straight in front of someone. Operating in SW1A is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. Anything we can do elsewhere in South West London we can do in SW1A.

Where the site in SW1A sits near controlled airspace or sensitive infrastructure, we arrange the clearances first. Longer lenses let us keep distance from people and property without losing detail. Privacy is considered in the flight plan, not left to the edit.

We can supply method statements and risk assessments for your own site paperwork. File formats are agreed up front so nothing needs converting later. Every job gets a written brief confirmation before we mobilise.

SW1A takes in a stretch of the tidal Thames. Our team works the river constantly, so vessel movements, tide windows and PLA coordination are handled in-house.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.

Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?

Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.
