FPV Drone Filming in SM5
Tell us the SM5 site and the brief, and we will confirm what is possible before you commit.
Recent Work
Selected work from across London and the Thames.
SM5 is part of the London area our FPV drone filming crews cover as standard. Clients here range from developers and contractors to production companies, agents and event organisers. We are happy to work alongside a ground photographer or video crew already on site.
The point of FPV drone filming is usually a decision someone else needs to make. We have flown enough of London to know where SM5 gets complicated. We hold current airspace knowledge for Sutton as a whole, SM5 included.
Each SM5 job is planned around the site itself: access, take-off points, overflight and people on the ground. Kit is chosen per brief, from sub-250g aircraft for tight spaces to RTK platforms for centimetre accuracy. Every crew member knows the abort criteria before the first take-off.
Our permissions and £10M public liability cover apply to all work in SM5. Urgent SM5 jobs can be turned around same-day where the schedule allows. The same pilot who plans the SM5 job is usually the one who flies it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?
Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.
What do we actually receive at the end?
That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.
Can you work around a live site in SM5?
Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.
