FPV Drone Filming in KT1

KT1 is inside our regular patch, so FPV drone filming there is a short mobilisation rather than a special arrangement.

Our FPV drone filming work in KT1 spans everything from single-shoot jobs to repeat site visits. Work here covers marketing, records, planning support and condition monitoring. We can attend a pre-start meeting where the site requires one.

The right altitude for any KT1 site depends entirely on what you are trying to show. Operating in KT1 is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. Sites across Kingston upon Thames get the same crews and the same standards as KT1.

Each KT1 job is planned around the site itself: access, take-off points, overflight and people on the ground. We capture in RAW throughout, so there is headroom left in the grade or the processing. Our risk assessments are written to be read, not to tick a box.

Crews carry their permissions on site and brief your ground staff before the first flight. Turnaround is same-day for raw material and 24 to 48 hours for edits, maps or reports. We do not add charges after the fact for travel or parking in KT1.

Riverfront work in KT1 needs a crew that reads the water as well as the airspace. Ours includes working Thames skippers, so tide state and vessel movements are planned for rather than discovered on the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?

Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.

What does a shoot in KT1 cost?

Price depends on the site, the flight time and the deliverables, so we quote per job rather than from a rate card. Send us the KT1 address and a short brief and we will come back with a fixed, obligation-free price.
