Drone Survey in WC2A

Everything we fly in WC2A sits inside permissions we already hold, with paperwork available on request.

WC2A is a regular destination for our drone survey crews. We are as comfortable on a single house as on a multi-acre site. Deliverables can be split across several recipients where the client team is spread out.

A single well-planned flight over the site often replaces a day of access equipment. Where WC2A sits under a flight path, timings matter more than usual. Our coverage of West Central London means a crew can reach WC2A without a long transit.

Flight planning for WC2A accounts for restricted airspace, local infrastructure and pedestrian movement. For confined sites we can drop to sub-250g aircraft without giving up image quality. We do not fly outside our permissions, whatever the deadline looks like.

Our authorisation covers the kind of built-up operation WC2A usually calls for. Nothing is held back pending payment; you get the material as agreed. We do not add charges after the fact for travel or parking in WC2A.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

Can you work around a live site in WC2A?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.
