Drone Survey in RM4

Book drone survey in RM4 with a crew that handles the airspace checks, risk assessment and clearances for you.

Our pilots work in RM4 often enough to know its airspace constraints before we arrive. Enquiries come from marketing teams, site managers, agents and private owners alike. We are happy to work alongside a ground photographer or video crew already on site.

A single well-planned flight over the site often replaces a day of access equipment. London airspace is not uniform, and RM4 has its own constraints to work around. Sites across Romford get the same crews and the same standards as RM4.

Flight planning for RM4 accounts for restricted airspace, local infrastructure and pedestrian movement. We capture in RAW throughout, so there is headroom left in the grade or the processing. We turn down work we cannot do properly rather than take it on and hope.

We are happy to be added to a principal contractor's approved supplier list. Turnaround is same-day for raw material and 24 to 48 hours for edits, maps or reports. Every job gets a written brief confirmation before we mobilise.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much notice do you need for a booking in RM4?

A few days is comfortable for most RM4 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?

Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.
