Drone Mapping in TW1

Whatever the site looks like in TW1, our drone mapping team plans the flight around it rather than the other way round.

TW1 sits inside our core London coverage, and we fly there regularly. Enquiries come from marketing teams, site managers, agents and private owners alike. If another supplier is already engaged, we can work alongside them.

We plan drone mapping around the output you need rather than the shots that look impressive. Height limits, restricted zones and helicopter routes all vary across London, TW1 included. Clients in TW1 often have sites elsewhere in Twickenham, and we can cover both on one mobilisation.

Operations in TW1 are planned against current NOTAMs and airspace data rather than last month's. On site we match the platform to the job, using cinema rigs for filming and RTK systems where survey accuracy matters. We turn down work we cannot do properly rather than take it on and hope.

Where a landowner, managing agent or council needs sight of our paperwork, we provide it up front. Repeat visits to TW1 are delivered to a consistent spec so the set matches. If anything changes between quote and flight, you hear it from us first.

The river edge of TW1 is a different operating problem to the streets behind it. Tides move the working surface, vessels move through the shot, and the Port of London Authority needs telling in advance. All three are routine parts of our planning here.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.

Do you retain copyright, or do we?

Licensing is agreed before the shoot and written into the quote, so there is no ambiguity afterwards. Tell us how you intend to use the material and we will scope the licence to match.

How long will you be on site in TW1?

Most single-subject jobs take one to three hours on site including setup, briefing and packing down. Larger sites, multiple elevations or survey work take longer, and we confirm the expected window when we quote.
