Drone Mapping in SE21

Everything we fly in SE21 sits inside permissions we already hold, with paperwork available on request.

SE21 is a regular destination for our drone mapping crews. Work in the district covers everything from marketing imagery to progress records and condition reports. Deliverables can be split across several recipients where the client team is spread out.

Whether the SE21 material ends up in a brochure or a report changes how we shoot it. Height limits, restricted zones and helicopter routes all vary across London, SE21 included. SE21 is grouped with the rest of South East London on our scheduling, which keeps mobilisation costs down.

Any SE21 flight close to controlled airspace gets NATS or ATC coordination arranged in advance. We capture in RAW throughout, so there is headroom left in the grade or the processing. Anything we cannot legally do, we say so before you book rather than after.

Our permissions and £10M public liability cover apply to all work in SE21. File formats are agreed up front so nothing needs converting later. If we get something wrong, we go back and reshoot it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much notice do you need for a booking in SE21?

A few days is comfortable for most SE21 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.
