Drone Mapping in EN2

Whatever the site looks like in EN2, our drone mapping team plans the flight around it rather than the other way round.

Drone mapping in EN2 is something we are set up to do at short notice. Jobs come in from main contractors, subcontractors and the client side directly. Scheduling is flexible. Early starts and weekend slots are both available.

Most EN2 clients are after material they can put straight in front of someone. Tall structures around EN2 affect both signal and wind, and we plan for both. We work the whole of Enfield, so EN2 is rarely a standalone trip.

The EN2 operating plan is written before the crew is scheduled, not after. We capture in RAW throughout, so there is headroom left in the grade or the processing. If conditions change on the day, the pilot's call is final.

Permissions, insurance and the risk assessment are all available before the flight rather than after it. Raw files come back the same day, with edited output typically inside 24 to 48 hours. The same pilot who plans the EN2 job is usually the one who flies it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.

Can you fly drones in EN2?

Yes. We hold the necessary permissions to operate safely in EN2. Every operation includes a full risk assessment and coordination with local authorities or airspace controllers where required.
