Drone Mapping in DA7

Whatever the site looks like in DA7, our drone mapping team plans the flight around it rather than the other way round.

DA7 is part of the London area our drone mapping crews cover as standard. We are as comfortable on a single house as on a multi-acre site. Scheduling is flexible. Early starts and weekend slots are both available.

The value of drone mapping here is showing something that is otherwise hard to see. Local access, not airspace, is often the real constraint on work in DA7. DA7 is one of the Dartford districts we cover, and the surrounding ones are all in range.

Operations in DA7 are planned against current NOTAMs and airspace data rather than last month's. Mapping work is flown on RTK platforms rather than estimated from camera drones. Privacy is considered in the flight plan, not left to the edit.

Everything we fly in DA7 sits inside the permissions we actually hold. Turnaround is same-day for raw material and 24 to 48 hours for edits, maps or reports. Every job gets a written brief confirmation before we mobilise.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you fly drones in DA7?

Yes. We hold the necessary permissions to operate safely in DA7. Every operation includes a full risk assessment and coordination with local authorities or airspace controllers where required.

Do you retain copyright, or do we?

Licensing is agreed before the shoot and written into the quote, so there is no ambiguity afterwards. Tell us how you intend to use the material and we will scope the licence to match.

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.
