Drone Mapping in CR7

CR7 is inside our regular patch, so drone mapping there is a short mobilisation rather than a special arrangement.

UAS London covers the CR7 postcode district as part of our standard London operating area. Work in the district covers everything from marketing imagery to progress records and condition reports. Repeat visits to the same CR7 site keep the same crew wherever we can manage it.

Height changes what the site communicates: context, scale and progress all read differently. The airspace picture over CR7 is checked fresh for each booking. Croydon is a regular working area for us, and CR7 is part of it.

We work out take-off and landing points, cordons and contingency routes for CR7 ahead of the shoot date. Kit is chosen per brief, from sub-250g aircraft for tight spaces to RTK platforms for centimetre accuracy. Crew brief happens on site, in front of whoever is responsible for the ground.

Our authorisation covers the kind of built-up operation CR7 usually calls for. Larger data sets are delivered by secure transfer rather than physical media. The same pilot who plans the CR7 job is usually the one who flies it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.

How quickly can you deliver?

We offer same-day turnaround for urgent projects. Standard delivery is within 24-48 hours.

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.
