Drone Inspection in UB3

UAS London provides drone inspection across the UB3 postcode district, under CAA operational authorisation and £10M public liability cover.

Our drone inspection work in UB3 spans everything from single-shoot jobs to repeat site visits. We handle both one-off commissions and scheduled repeat visits for ongoing projects. We are happy to work alongside a ground photographer or video crew already on site.

Height changes what the site communicates: context, scale and progress all read differently. London airspace is not uniform, and UB3 has its own constraints to work around. Clients in UB3 often have sites elsewhere in Southall, and we can cover both on one mobilisation.

Planning for UB3 covers airspace class, nearby aerodromes, and anything on the ground that changes the risk picture. For confined sites we can drop to sub-250g aircraft without giving up image quality. Our risk assessments are written to be read, not to tick a box.

Site inductions and permit systems are no obstacle; we work to them routinely. If weather stops the flight we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost. The same pilot who plans the UB3 job is usually the one who flies it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

How long will you be on site in UB3?

Most single-subject jobs take one to three hours on site including setup, briefing and packing down. Larger sites, multiple elevations or survey work take longer, and we confirm the expected window when we quote.

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.
