Drone Inspection in EC2A

A CAA-approved, £10M-insured crew for drone inspection anywhere in EC2A.

We take drone inspection bookings across EC2A most weeks of the year. Jobs come in from main contractors, subcontractors and the client side directly. If the brief is still loose, we would rather talk it through than guess at it.

Most EC2A clients are after material they can put straight in front of someone. Knowing where you can legally launch in EC2A saves a wasted mobilisation. EC2A shares its airspace picture with the rest of East Central London, which we already know well.

We confirm what permissions the EC2A site needs before anything is booked in. Cinema, survey and inspection payloads are all available from the same crew on the same visit. We keep the separation distances the regulations require from anyone not under our control.

All flights are logged, and we keep the records available for your compliance file. Tell us the EC2A postcode and what you need, and we will quote without obligation. Questions get answered by someone who has actually flown the site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

How much notice do you need for a booking in EC2A?

A few days is comfortable for most EC2A sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.
