Drone Filming in NW4

NW4 is inside our regular patch, so drone filming there is a short mobilisation rather than a special arrangement.

We take drone filming bookings across NW4 most weeks of the year. Projects here run from quick property shoots to multi-day commercial productions. Access constraints in NW4 are worth telling us about early, because they change the plan.

The right altitude for any NW4 site depends entirely on what you are trying to show. Operating in NW4 is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. We hold current airspace knowledge for North West London as a whole, NW4 included.

We confirm what permissions the NW4 site needs before anything is booked in. We carry enough kit to change approach on site if conditions demand it. Residents and neighbouring occupiers in NW4 are given notice where the operation warrants it.

Where compliance evidence is needed for a planning or insurance file, we supply it. File formats are agreed up front so nothing needs converting later. Questions get answered by someone who has actually flown the site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.

Can you work around a live site in NW4?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.

Do you retain copyright, or do we?

Licensing is agreed before the shoot and written into the quote, so there is no ambiguity afterwards. Tell us how you intend to use the material and we will scope the licence to match.
