Drone Filming in IG7

IG7 is inside our regular patch, so drone filming there is a short mobilisation rather than a special arrangement.

IG7 is a regular destination for our drone filming crews. Work here covers marketing, records, planning support and condition monitoring. Deliverables can be split across several recipients where the client team is spread out.

What comes back from the IG7 flight should stand on its own without explanation. Operating in IG7 is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. IG7 is grouped with the rest of Ilford on our scheduling, which keeps mobilisation costs down.

Before we fly in IG7 we check airspace restrictions, obstacles and ground risk on the day. We carry enough kit to change approach on site if conditions demand it. Anything we cannot legally do, we say so before you book rather than after.

Permissions, insurance and the risk assessment are all available before the flight rather than after it. If weather stops the flight we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost. You get one point of contact from enquiry through to delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you work around a live site in IG7?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.
