Construction Site Mapping in IG1

Commercial construction site mapping in IG1, from a London operator with CAA approval, £10M cover and same-day raw delivery.

IG1 is a regular destination for our construction site mapping crews. Some clients book us once; others keep us on a monthly cycle. We are happy to quote two or three approaches so you can compare.

Good construction site mapping makes the next conversation shorter. Proximity to controlled airspace changes what is possible in parts of IG1. IG1 is grouped with the rest of Ilford on our scheduling, which keeps mobilisation costs down.

Flight planning for IG1 accounts for restricted airspace, local infrastructure and pedestrian movement. Payload choice follows the deliverable, whether that is a frame or a measurement. Our risk assessments are written to be read, not to tick a box.

Every operation runs under our CAA authorisation with £10M public liability cover in place. Nothing is held back pending payment; you get the material as agreed. Our quotes set out what is included so there is nothing to argue about afterwards.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you work around a live site in IG1?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.

How much notice do you need for a booking in IG1?

A few days is comfortable for most IG1 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.
