Construction Site Mapping in EC2P

EC2P is inside our regular patch, so construction site mapping there is a short mobilisation rather than a special arrangement.

EC2P is a regular destination for our construction site mapping crews. Clients here range from developers and contractors to production companies, agents and event organisers. Quotes hold; we do not revise them once the job is agreed.

We shoot construction site mapping to be used, not to fill a gallery. Height limits, restricted zones and helicopter routes all vary across London, EC2P included. We hold current airspace knowledge for East Central London as a whole, EC2P included.

Planning for EC2P covers airspace class, nearby aerodromes, and anything on the ground that changes the risk picture. The aircraft is chosen after the brief is understood, not before. Crew brief happens on site, in front of whoever is responsible for the ground.

We are happy to be added to a principal contractor's approved supplier list. Urgent EC2P jobs can be turned around same-day where the schedule allows. If anything changes between quote and flight, you hear it from us first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

Can you work around a live site in EC2P?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.

Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?

Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.
