Construction Progress Monitoring in E9

E9 is inside our regular patch, so construction progress monitoring there is a short mobilisation rather than a special arrangement.

Recent Work

Selected work from across London and the Thames.

If your site falls in E9, our construction progress monitoring team can plan and fly it under existing CAA permissions. Clients here range from developers and contractors to production companies, agents and event organisers. We quote per job rather than from a rate card, because sites differ more than services do.

The value of construction progress monitoring here is showing something that is otherwise hard to see. Built-up areas like E9 carry ground-risk rules that open sites do not. We work the whole of East London, so E9 is rarely a standalone trip.

Any E9 flight close to controlled airspace gets NATS or ATC coordination arranged in advance. Mapping work is flown on RTK platforms rather than estimated from camera drones. Residents and neighbouring occupiers in E9 are given notice where the operation warrants it.

We are CAA approved and insured to £10M public liability on every job. Give us the site details and we will confirm feasibility and cost before you commit. Questions get answered by someone who has actually flown the site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.
