Construction Progress Monitoring in E17

UAS London provides construction progress monitoring across the E17 postcode district, under CAA operational authorisation and £10M public liability cover.

Recent Work

Selected work from across London and the Thames.

Our pilots work in E17 often enough to know its airspace constraints before we arrive. Enquiries come from marketing teams, site managers, agents and private owners alike. Deliverables can be split across several recipients where the client team is spread out.

What comes back from the E17 flight should stand on its own without explanation. We already know which parts of E17 need extra lead time and which do not. E17 is one of the East London districts we cover, and the surrounding ones are all in range.

Any E17 flight close to controlled airspace gets NATS or ATC coordination arranged in advance. Where the output is data rather than footage, we fly RTK-equipped platforms for survey-grade accuracy. Every crew member knows the abort criteria before the first take-off.

UAS London holds CAA operational authorisation and carries £10M public liability insurance. Nothing is held back pending payment; you get the material as agreed. Every job gets a written brief confirmation before we mobilise.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.
