Construction Drone Filming in EC4M

We cover EC4M for construction drone filming, with the airspace checks, risk assessment and clearances handled before the crew arrives.

Recent Work

Selected work from across London and the Thames.

Our construction drone filming work reaches every part of EC4M. Typical jobs cover commercial premises, residential developments, industrial units and open sites. Where a job spans several sites, we can cover them in one mobilisation.

An aerial set of the site gives you context that a street-level photograph loses. Local access, not airspace, is often the real constraint on work in EC4M. We hold current airspace knowledge for East Central London as a whole, EC4M included.

We confirm what permissions the EC4M site needs before anything is booked in. For confined sites we can drop to sub-250g aircraft without giving up image quality. If the airspace makes the job impossible, you will hear that at the enquiry stage.

Where compliance evidence is needed for a planning or insurance file, we supply it. Ask for the EC4M brief to be quoted with and without editing if that helps you compare. If we get something wrong, we go back and reshoot it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.
