Civil Engineering Drone Surveys in W6
Whatever the site looks like in W6, our civil engineering drone surveys team plans the flight around it rather than the other way round.
W6 is well within our operating radius, so mobilising a crew there is straightforward. Briefs range from a single set of stills through to full production support. Small jobs are welcome; there is no minimum project size.
Whether the W6 material ends up in a brochure or a report changes how we shoot it. Operating in W6 is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. Anything we can do elsewhere in West London we can do in W6.
The W6 plan starts from what is on the ground, not from a standard template. For confined sites we can drop to sub-250g aircraft without giving up image quality. Where children or the general public are present, the plan accounts for them explicitly.
Everything we fly in W6 sits inside the permissions we actually hold. If weather stops the flight we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost. We keep the brief and the delivery in writing so expectations stay aligned.
W6 borders the tidal Thames, which changes how a flight there has to be planned. Our crews include working river skippers, so over-water and riverside jobs are coordinated with the Port of London Authority as a matter of course.
What's Included
Thames Riverside Expertise
Because W6 is adjacent to the River Thames, operations here may require specialist maritime knowledge. We coordinate with the Port of London Authority (PLA) and provide highly experienced river skippers when required.

Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?
Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.
How much notice do you need for a booking in W6?
A few days is comfortable for most W6 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day?
We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.
