Civil Engineering Drone Surveys in IG9

Whatever the site looks like in IG9, our civil engineering drone surveys team plans the flight around it rather than the other way round.

Our pilots work in IG9 often enough to know its airspace constraints before we arrive. We work for construction firms, property teams, marketing agencies and local businesses in the area. Scheduling is flexible. Early starts and weekend slots are both available.

The point of civil engineering drone surveys is usually a decision someone else needs to make. Traffic, pedestrians and overhead services in IG9 shape the plan as much as the regulations do. Ilford is a regular working area for us, and IG9 is part of it.

Any IG9 flight close to controlled airspace gets NATS or ATC coordination arranged in advance. We fly the aircraft the brief actually needs rather than the same platform for everything. Residents and neighbouring occupiers in IG9 are given notice where the operation warrants it.

UAS London holds CAA operational authorisation and carries £10M public liability insurance. Raw files come back the same day, with edited output typically inside 24 to 48 hours. Nothing about the IG9 operation is subcontracted out without telling you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.

Can you fly drones in IG9?

Yes. We hold the necessary permissions to operate safely in IG9. Every operation includes a full risk assessment and coordination with local authorities or airspace controllers where required.
