Aerial Photography in WC1A

We fly aerial photography throughout WC1A, planned and permitted before the crew arrives on site.

UAS London covers the WC1A postcode district as part of our standard London operating area. That includes new-build developments, refurbishment sites, commercial premises and public events. If the brief is still loose, we would rather talk it through than guess at it.

The value of aerial photography here is showing something that is otherwise hard to see. Where WC1A sits under a flight path, timings matter more than usual. WC1A sits in the West Central London postcode area, which our crews cover as one patch.

We look at obstacles, overflight and public access around the WC1A site before quoting. Mapping work is flown on RTK platforms rather than estimated from camera drones. We would rather stand down and rebook than fly a marginal operation.

Crews carry their permissions on site and brief your ground staff before the first flight. Delivery is by secure cloud transfer, with the raw files retained as backup. You will know who is turning up in WC1A, and when, before the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.
