Aerial Photography in W1U

W1U is inside our regular patch, so aerial photography there is a short mobilisation rather than a special arrangement.

Our aerial photography work reaches every part of W1U. Some clients book us once; others keep us on a monthly cycle. We are happy to work alongside a ground photographer or video crew already on site.

Most W1U clients are after material they can put straight in front of someone. We treat W1U as its own operating environment rather than a dot on a London map. Anything we can do elsewhere in West London we can do in W1U.

Flight planning for W1U accounts for restricted airspace, local infrastructure and pedestrian movement. Cinema, survey and inspection payloads are all available from the same crew on the same visit. Anything we cannot legally do, we say so before you book rather than after.

Where compliance evidence is needed for a planning or insurance file, we supply it. If weather stops the flight we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost. We flag anything that could delay the W1U shoot as soon as we spot it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much notice do you need for a booking in W1U?

A few days is comfortable for most W1U sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.
