Thermal Drone Inspection in SE7

Everything we fly in SE7 sits inside permissions we already hold, with paperwork available on request.

SE7 is part of the London area our thermal drone inspection crews cover as standard. Our clients here tend to be developers, contractors, architects and creative agencies. If another supplier is already engaged, we can work alongside them.

Most SE7 clients are after material they can put straight in front of someone. Where SE7 sits under a flight path, timings matter more than usual. SE7 is grouped with the rest of South East London on our scheduling, which keeps mobilisation costs down.

We work out take-off and landing points, cordons and contingency routes for SE7 ahead of the shoot date. The aircraft is chosen after the brief is understood, not before. If the airspace makes the job impossible, you will hear that at the enquiry stage.

Permissions, insurance and the risk assessment are all available before the flight rather than after it. Ask for the SE7 brief to be quoted with and without editing if that helps you compare. Our quotes set out what is included so there is nothing to argue about afterwards.

SE7 borders the tidal Thames, which changes how a flight there has to be planned. Our crews include working river skippers, so over-water and riverside jobs are coordinated with the Port of London Authority as a matter of course.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much notice do you need for a booking in SE7?

A few days is comfortable for most SE7 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.

Can you fly indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Yes, with sub-250g aircraft and appropriate planning. Enclosed and confined spaces need their own risk assessment and often a different platform, so tell us about the environment early and we will confirm what is workable.
