Thermal Drone Inspection in E18

E18 is inside our regular patch, so thermal drone inspection there is a short mobilisation rather than a special arrangement.

E18 is well within our operating radius, so mobilising a crew there is straightforward. Work here covers marketing, records, planning support and condition monitoring. We will say plainly if a drone is the wrong tool for what you are trying to show.

The right altitude for any E18 site depends entirely on what you are trying to show. Tall structures around E18 affect both signal and wind, and we plan for both. Clients in E18 often have sites elsewhere in East London, and we can cover both on one mobilisation.

Each E18 job is planned around the site itself: access, take-off points, overflight and people on the ground. Where the output is data rather than footage, we fly RTK-equipped platforms for survey-grade accuracy. Anything we cannot legally do, we say so before you book rather than after.

Our permissions and £10M public liability cover apply to all work in E18. Give us the site details and we will confirm feasibility and cost before you commit. The same pilot who plans the E18 job is usually the one who flies it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do we actually receive at the end?

That depends on the brief: graded video, high-resolution stills, orthomosaic maps, 3D models or an inspection report. Raw capture is handed over on the day and finished output follows by secure cloud transfer.

How long will you be on site in E18?

Most single-subject jobs take one to three hours on site including setup, briefing and packing down. Larger sites, multiple elevations or survey work take longer, and we confirm the expected window when we quote.

How much notice do you need for a booking in E18?

A few days is comfortable for most E18 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.
