Construction Site Mapping in RM12

RM12 is inside our regular patch, so construction site mapping there is a short mobilisation rather than a special arrangement.

We know the airspace picture over RM12 before we quote on it. Some clients book us once; others keep us on a monthly cycle. Budgets and deadlines are easier to design around when we know them early.

Height changes what the site communicates: context, scale and progress all read differently. Proximity to controlled airspace changes what is possible in parts of RM12. Anything we can do elsewhere in Romford we can do in RM12.

Before we fly in RM12 we check airspace restrictions, obstacles and ground risk on the day. We carry enough kit to change approach on site if conditions demand it. We would rather stand down and rebook than fly a marginal operation.

Paperwork is ready before the booking is confirmed rather than chased afterwards. Repeat visits to RM12 are delivered to a consistent spec so the set matches. Questions get answered by someone who has actually flown the site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?

Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.

How much notice do you need for a booking in RM12?

A few days is comfortable for most RM12 sites, and we can often cover urgent work at shorter notice. Jobs needing NATS or ATC coordination, or access to a restricted site, need longer, and we will flag that as soon as we see the brief.
