Construction Site Mapping in E1W

Getting a crew into E1W is a short job for us rather than a special arrangement. We handle both one-off commissions and scheduled repeat visits for ongoing projects. We are happy to work alongside a ground photographer or video crew already on site.

Every construction site mapping brief starts with what the images have to do. Every London district has its own mix of obstacles, and E1W is no exception. East London is a regular working area for us, and E1W is part of it.

Operations in E1W are planned against current NOTAMs and airspace data rather than last month's. Depending on the deliverable that might be the Inspire 3 for 8K, a Mavic for reach, or a Matrice for mapping. We keep the separation distances the regulations require from anyone not under our control.

Every operation runs under our CAA authorisation with £10M public liability cover in place. You get the raw capture on the day and finished deliverables within a couple of days. Questions get answered by someone who has actually flown the site.

E1W borders the tidal Thames, which changes how a flight there has to be planned. Our crews include working river skippers, so over-water and riverside jobs are coordinated with the Port of London Authority as a matter of course.
