Construction Site Mapping in BR3

We cover BR3 for construction site mapping, with the airspace checks, risk assessment and clearances handled before the crew arrives.

If your site falls in BR3, our construction site mapping team can plan and fly it under existing CAA permissions. Enquiries come from marketing teams, site managers, agents and private owners alike. If another supplier is already engaged, we can work alongside them.

An aerial set of the site gives you context that a street-level photograph loses. Knowing where you can legally launch in BR3 saves a wasted mobilisation. We work the whole of Bromley, so BR3 is rarely a standalone trip.

Where the site in BR3 sits near controlled airspace or sensitive infrastructure, we arrange the clearances first. Where the output is data rather than footage, we fly RTK-equipped platforms for survey-grade accuracy. Residents and neighbouring occupiers in BR3 are given notice where the operation warrants it.

Every operation runs under our CAA authorisation with £10M public liability cover in place. Nothing is held back pending payment; you get the material as agreed. Where a job runs over, we absorb it rather than reissue the invoice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

How long will you be on site in BR3?

Most single-subject jobs take one to three hours on site including setup, briefing and packing down. Larger sites, multiple elevations or survey work take longer, and we confirm the expected window when we quote.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.
