Civil Engineering Drone Surveys in NW8

UAS London provides civil engineering drone surveys across the NW8 postcode district, under CAA operational authorisation and £10M public liability cover.

Our pilots work in NW8 often enough to know its airspace constraints before we arrive. We handle both one-off commissions and scheduled repeat visits for ongoing projects. Small jobs are welcome; there is no minimum project size.

Whether the NW8 material ends up in a brochure or a report changes how we shoot it. Operating in NW8 is a different problem to operating on open ground, and it is planned that way. NW8 is grouped with the rest of North West London on our scheduling, which keeps mobilisation costs down.

We assess the NW8 location in advance, on foot or from mapping, before any aircraft leaves the case. We carry enough kit to change approach on site if conditions demand it. If conditions change on the day, the pilot's call is final.

Paperwork is ready before the booking is confirmed rather than chased afterwards. Larger data sets are delivered by secure transfer rather than physical media. We do not add charges after the fact for travel or parking in NW8.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you insured, and can we see the certificate?

Yes. We carry £10M public liability insurance and can send the certificate, our CAA operational authorisation and a job-specific risk assessment before the booking is confirmed.

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

Are you CAA approved?

Yes. UAS London is fully CAA approved with enhanced permissions for commercial drone operations in built-up areas. We carry £10M public liability insurance.
