Civil Engineering Drone Surveys in N5

Our civil engineering drone surveys crews work N5 and the districts around it throughout the year.

Our pilots work in N5 often enough to know its airspace constraints before we arrive. Sites vary from tight residential streets to large commercial and industrial plots. Scheduling is flexible. Early starts and weekend slots are both available.

Most N5 clients are after material they can put straight in front of someone. Height limits, restricted zones and helicopter routes all vary across London, N5 included. Sites across North London get the same crews and the same standards as N5.

Operations in N5 are planned against current NOTAMs and airspace data rather than last month's. Cinema, survey and inspection payloads are all available from the same crew on the same visit. If the airspace makes the job impossible, you will hear that at the enquiry stage.

Every operation runs under our CAA authorisation with £10M public liability cover in place. Raw files come back the same day, with edited output typically inside 24 to 48 hours. We flag anything that could delay the N5 shoot as soon as we spot it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you work around a live site in N5?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.

Do you need us to close anything off while you fly?

Usually not. Most jobs are flown with a small cordon around the take-off point and sensible separation from people on the ground. Where a site genuinely needs more, we will tell you at the planning stage rather than on the morning.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

We monitor forecasts in the days before the flight and will tell you early if it looks marginal. If conditions make the flight unsafe we rebook the next clear window at no extra cost.
