Civil Engineering Drone Surveys in E14

Whatever the site looks like in E14, our civil engineering drone surveys team plans the flight around it rather than the other way round.

Our pilots work in E14 often enough to know its airspace constraints before we arrive. Projects here run from quick property shoots to multi-day commercial productions. Where a job spans several sites, we can cover them in one mobilisation.

An aerial set of the site gives you context that a street-level photograph loses. Height limits, restricted zones and helicopter routes all vary across London, E14 included. Clients in E14 often have sites elsewhere in East London, and we can cover both on one mobilisation.

Every flight in E14 starts with an airspace check and a written risk assessment. We fly the aircraft the brief actually needs rather than the same platform for everything. Every crew member knows the abort criteria before the first take-off.

Crews carry their permissions on site and brief your ground staff before the first flight. Larger data sets are delivered by secure transfer rather than physical media. If anything changes between quote and flight, you hear it from us first.

E14 fronts the tidal Thames, so a job here can mean launching from the bank, from a pier or from a vessel. We are set up and insured for all three, with PLA coordination handled as standard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you work around a live site in E14?

Yes. We plan around access routes, working hours and pedestrian movement, and can schedule flights for quieter windows to keep ground risk down. Cordons and marshalling are agreed in advance rather than arranged on the day.

Do we need permission from the landowner or council?

Take-off and landing need the landowner's permission, and we will tell you whose it is before the date. Where a council, managing agent or estate needs sight of our CAA authorisation, insurance or risk assessment, we supply the paperwork directly.

Do you retain copyright, or do we?

Licensing is agreed before the shoot and written into the quote, so there is no ambiguity afterwards. Tell us how you intend to use the material and we will scope the licence to match.
