The Port of London Authority (PLA) is the navigational authority for the tidal Thames, keeping one of the world's busiest rivers moving safely. Its harbour service launches support pilotage, patrol, and river operations along the full length of the tideway. UAS London captured the PLA launch Kew underway at the Dartford Crossing, framed beneath the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge on the lower Thames. Aerial photography places the vessel in the context of the wider river and its landmark crossings — imagery suited both to operational records and to marketing the work of the authorities that keep the Thames running.
