Tower Bridge and the tidal River Thames are among the most photographed — and most tightly controlled — subjects in UK airspace. This showcase brings together a series of aerial photographs captured by UAS London along a single stretch of the river: the bascules and high-level walkways of Tower Bridge, the City of London skyline behind, HMS Belfast, and Uber Boat by Thames Clippers river services passing beneath. Operating a drone over central London requires specialist permissions, meticulous flight planning, and constant awareness of river traffic and pedestrians below. These frames — shot from golden hour through to full night — demonstrate the range of light and perspective we can deliver over the capital's most iconic river landmarks.
